Yesterday I first time on Photo Marathon participated. The autumn mini-version, which was held on the occasion of the European Month of Photography in Berlin. Mini is large compared to the marathon only 25 participants and only four issues to be fired in chronological order to a general topic within three hours on the memory card. At the big photo-marathon this summer in Berlin was attended 600 people, a motley between amateur and professional photographers, individually or in teams. They had to deal with in 12 hours 24 topics. The first prize in 2010 was the way one participant with a compact camera. So please do not stress technique and believe the Photo Marathon would only elitist art. It is ultimately about the specified Subjects combine well with the main heading and continued to write creatively a line. It is about seeing and creativity.
The weather did not in time for the start of rain-free zone, and so could I and Susan we primarily focus on the world outside, although we are the first photo (on which more and the respective subscriber numbers are mapped must) or in a nearby cafe transpose. With such a mini-marathon photo you can make even dull winter days quite well even with friends, to force himself to going out (there is no bad weather ...). We actually need only A few colleagues and a theme generator that should the external photographer with ideas for topics to be generous.
