I recently had a workshop day at the newly AKG, founded Scholarship of Sound photographed. The workshop was supported all week by a film crew. The workshops were recorded throughout the course of a fixed video camera but it was on course, an employee of the team the whole time, his movies with a Canon 500D made - with the highest professional tripod equipment.
I have to talk later in the photographer and he was simply excited about the opportunities that make a DSLR in image quality.
He says the emotions they record only with the DSLR, image quality was excellent and despite the disadvantages (sound stop after 15 minutes, if process noise is too warm) appeared for the team DSLR fully accepted as a professional film equipment. The lighting situation was a result of the other camera of course governed by continuous light. Film is taken with DSLR thus increasingly seriously. The result will certainly be admired soon here .
