How Long To Get Transition Lenses

Gin Tonic

just the spirits industry has always provided new marketing campaigns for affluent consumers. Be it directly through television advertising, more indirectly through ominous Blog Battles, still camouflaged by greasy relationship or simply through obviously pretty useless packaging and sale offerings, there are nothing that does not exist.

Predestined for odd advertising course, companies that already offer unusual products. In the area of Hendrick's Gin is a clear representative of this genre.
Gin from Scotland, alongside juniper with Bulgarian rose and cucumber salad flavored, just 200 liters per batch, made from the blended distillates, which are generated by two old and rare stills - but it still sounds promising.
The lovingly crafted and entertaining website this gin is already a great visual treat. What I could but in the duty-free shop to see in Dusseldorf, expanded my horizons, which detached Advertising is concerned, considerable: An oversized cardboard, gin all over with classic drawings, (t) cocktails, cucumbers and tea overwhelmed, which includes a bottle of Hendrick's and a porcelain cup and saucer included.
the gin I wanted to try anyway times, price was also attractive, and the collector instinct immediately struck by. Bought!

At home I was able to classify the twisted idea of advertising at last. Full of self-conviction claims Hendrick's, that of the "two-legged dachshunds from Borgou in Benin" about the "incredible Schrupfmänner from Pangkalpinang" to be "noble and wonderful experience of Hendrick's gin," the most extraordinary things is often the most remarkable.
This is the reason why Hendrick's believes that teatime was much more pleasant if one would opt for an alcoholic beverage instead of the classic cup of teas .
The next teatime should I take the mundane and pour yourself a cocktail Hendrick's.
is the end of the manufacturer, only the question of what justification is still needed except the fact that life is just too glorious as that one should not quirky pleasures of Hendrick's gin experience.
looks so simple and down to earth from the rationale for the puzzling Packing. ;-)

are also printed three recipes that I would not hide from you. For the classic race at the cocktails follows a brief review.

Tea Time Martini
  • 6 large mint leaves 1 BL
  • rose petal jam
  • 1.5cl lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 5cl Gin (Hendrick's)
preparation
all ingredients in a teapot and fill with ice. Strong pull stir and let ("[...] leave to brew "). stylish and elegantly served in the Hendrick's tea cup.

Flora Dora
  • 1.5cl lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1.5cl raspberry syrup
  • 5cl Gin (Hendrick's)
  • Ginger Beer *
preparation
all ingredients in a shaker and shake well. Serve on ice in the tea cup, with two raspberries and lime slice garnish.

* Ideally, non-carbonated ... ;-)

Unusual may well be the flattering description, and so completely I can not believe that one should seriously heat up the whole drink with ice in the two recipes.
matter - Gin Tonic with the Scottish product has been well established in the bar menu in the world:

Hendrick's & Tonic
  • 5cl Gin (Hendrick's)
  • Tonic Water
preparation
Hendrick's on ice to give top up with tonic and garnish with a slice of cucumber.

Already the formulation of this classic is very used to and probably draws more attention to itself as the drink inside. Ice cubes in a teacup ... really only useful as a gag.
flavors are more subtle then present clear juniper notes with incredible freshness ubiquitous cucumber. Unmistakably, a slight sweetness, not to mention the bitterness of tonic Waters altogether.
releases flavor continues the olfactory impression, and it shows the advantage that only very little besides gin tonic water and ice may be in the cup. Fairly mild and balanced presents the Gin a slightly confusing cucumber flavor, sweetness clearly plays well with. Disposal is determined by the tonic water.
Conclusion: A very light and I think quite pleasant, if not characteristic representative of the gin world.

In this sense: Time for Tea!
